The Diamond Woman
Women should be like diamonds.
Diamonds are beautiful no matter what shape, size, or color they are. Each and every woman is a masterpiece. She was made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Just think, the Creator of the Universe designed you to look just like Him. I know there are some days I look in the mirror and don't see a pretty person; my tummy sticks out, I have a double chin if I look down. Then I remember, I have the Holy Spirit living inside me. I am a temple (1 Corinthians 6:19), why should I hurt the temple. Yes, I do need to get in shape, but I don't need to do harmful things to it. But in contrast, I should glorify and use this earthly body for God's service. Although there is a point that is overdoing it (Proverbs 11:22). I was bought with a great price (1 Corinthians 6:20), so I should serve Him in thankfulness.
Diamonds are also good electrical insulators (that means that they support and sometimes separate the electrical current, but the electricity never passes through them). Women should also be good insulators. God has blessed women with the great ability and reputation to speak softly in times of need (Proverbs 25:11). These words spoken can calm a room without the anger passing through the woman. Women can also support others recovering from a bad situation without being pulled into the problem itself.
